Hello,
I often use Dolphin to edit my web site via ftp. I split dolphin in two parts. The first contains my local website (file://home/rg/sites/mysite) and the other one is the root of my prod website accessed by ftp (ftp://myserver/sites/mywebsite). Even if these url aren't similar, they have same descendants ( /home/rg/sites/mysite/lib/orm/doctrine/...) and (ftp://myserver/sites/mywebsite/lib/orm/doctrine/...)...

Here is my feature request. I'd like to have an option, maybe in the tools menu, named "sync browsing" ( example ) with two states _ enabled/ disabled _ (like "show hidden files"). When this sync mode would be enabled, everytime i navigate in the common folder hierarchy in one side, there would be an automatic navigation in the same folder on the other side.

- When the clicked folder would be outside the common hierarchy, the "synced mode" would automatically be disabled.
- During the "synchronized browsing mode", when the mouse is hover an icon, in addition to the usual + or - action, an arrow oriented to the other side would appear in the bottom left. A click on this arrow would copy the file/folder.

I think this is a useful idea. But: This wouldn't be useful for most people. Therefore it should not be intrusive, i.e. should not be at a prominent position in the user interface, like the toolbar or the menu.

I don't think that this is a bad idea, but I think it needs some adjustments. It would be perfect in form of a plugin, if Dolphin would support a plugin architecture...
