The ability to set how and when to open new tabs in konqueror is fairly limited. Useful options to have would be the ability to independently set where searches, history items, bookmarks, and typed addresses are opened (current tab, new tab next to current, new tab at end, etc) and being able to set what sorts of links are opened in the current tab and what sort are opened in new tabs.
