Hi,

well, the title is self-explaining.
A rule is needed in the filter configuration that allows tagging of messages.

So sender could apply tags to message?

Well, with the Tags I mean these that can be configured in the KMail-Confiugration, Appearance, Message Tags...

I think that these are Nepomuk-Tags and are definetly not sent with the e-mail.

You still can tag sended mails locally for your e-mail collection.

Microsoft Office Outlook has this feature, so some people may expect it and have valid use cases for it.
