[kbluetooth4] quick hide/show

Sun Jul 05, 2009 9:44 pm
My request is about being able to make a (or all) bluetooth adapter discoverable/hidden via left click menu of kbluetooth4. up until now one has to go: left click->settings->bluetooth adapters and change the mode and then press ok.

it would encourage people to stay in hidden mode until they want to connect to their adapter.

Dont you think its better to disable bluetooth when non needed instead of hiding and get extra 5 mins of battery usage?

Good too, but there's a slight difference, as far as I see.

I'm not talking about quick hide if not needed. I mean quick hide if not needed to be discoverable. You have to be discoverable when pairing with an new device like your mobile phone.

But once you are connected and do your stuff you no longer need to be discoverable.
