To do math you have to type in something like '=1+3'

That is ok for English only users. But I, as Lithuanian have a problem. My local keyboard layout uses same button for '=' and 'ž' so i have to change layout every time when i need math.

I think there could be used '=' and '+' for same purpose. Even more it does not break any logic. '=1+3' is the same (4) as '=0+1+3' and the same as '0+1+3' and same '+1+3'

I guess many multilingual keyboards, who preserves main qwerty layout, uses number keys (in top of main section) number keys for national letters. Or not....? :D

Anyway, such long word calculate would give 2 disadvantages.
* It would easies to start any stand alone calculator
* 'Calculate' is English word, so it would have to be translated into all languages. Despite it is doable, but it would take time for all translation teems to do so BUT also there is more than 20 possible words (or forms of words) to be translated into Lithuanian. I sometimes get lost in kicker, even I have to type just a part of word, and here I would have to remember whole keyword. It is barely impossible for new users.

However, in config, there could be e.g. 3 triggers for calculator , so, first could be '=', second '+', and third any word you might like, even 'calculate' :D

How about this?

Not "calculate!", just "!", but a configuratable calculator would be perfect.

No, I've a German qwertz keyboard and numbers are just for numbers and special characters. I can type äöüß directly and things like éâù by typing "^" and "a". No fundamental special keys are missing. (maybe I've to press alt-gr and shift more often for special-keys)
