I have just seen another game-missing topic, so.. it\'s time for another request
Long time ago single player "Mahjong" (well, mainly same tiles) was introduced in KDE, but there\'s nothing about the true game, in any of its variants, including: - Classic chinese http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mahjong - Riichi Mahjong http://ofb.net/~whuang/ugcs/gp/mahjong/mahjong.html Considering the amount of people in the world that play any of them, it looks interesting to include an implementation in KDE. Which modes should be available, at least? - Classic chinese, with different tournament rules (i don\'t really play this variant). - Riichi Mahjong (nashi, ari classic/red, european rules, charleston..). Besides many chinese/japanese people probably can help with the documentation, translations and accurate rulesets. I did join in a document some information about rules in Riichi Mahjong. It is in spanish, and can be included (after some formatting, of course). As you can see this IS a multiplayer game, so the goal is being able to create games, join games, view replays, and optionally having a player rank.. between friends (the usual client/server schema ). For people who wants to play in a "less cheatable environment" (people can access to the source code, and even may "add" a few printfs indicating the tiles of everyone, for example) you can play on tenhou.net right now. What do you think? Regards |

The classical multiplayer mahjongg is already being worked on, see trunk/playground/games/kmj.
