Hi!
Jambi needs some XML-files to generate the binding-code. With the existing header-lists and qtguess from kalyptus these files could be generated. Then the program could call Jambi (or the D port) with these files. Then there would be D and Java bindings. The User |

I think Jambi becomes more and more important for KDE.
Let us look at important language: -C++, very powerful and fast, Qt's and KDE's language of choice -Ruby, very easy to use, there is a Smoke-backend -Python, widely used scripting-language, there are a KDE-binding and two Qt-bindings -Java, widely used, very important: Jambi-XML would be the solution -C#, Java-alternative, Smoke-binding, but there is also a Jambi alternative -D, maybe the most powerful language: Jambi-XML would be the solution -JavaScript, prefered by web-developers, it has made Firefox successful: There is a new Jambi-based QtScript binding-generator -PHP, widely used for web-development, bad smoke-backend These are most important languages, let us forget some functional ones (Scheme, Haskell...) and you will see: KDE could take a lot of advantages from Jambi. |

It is nice to have down-voters without any comments...
