I think that the custom-notifications configuration in Kopete is really bad.

There is no way to specify which notification to use (either the Group/Contact specific notifications or the global notifications).

For example, when I have configured a custom notification for a contact, there seems to be no way to disable this custom notification.

I think there should be a dialog in the settings menu, that allows to specify for which contact/group the custom notifications should apply. This way you have a global overview over the different contacts who have custom notifications applied.
