Hi,
I think it should be some tool in Dolphin called "Statistics" about folders and files.
I mean it will include informations about e.g.:
-Number of copied files
-Number of deleted files
-the oldest files,
-the biggest files,
-not used files,
-recently amended files,
-which files were most often moved/copied to specific folder or destination
-any other ideas you want
I think it will help users change default settings (e.g. default firefox download destination folder) so that they will spent less time moving, organizeing files but more time using them.
What's more they will know which files they don't use and then colud delete them.

What do you think?

Is it about personal documents or non-personal files/apps?

If it is personal data, i think nepomuk should do this, since indexing and managing such data is undividable form desktop search.
