At the moment, the DBus gesture configuration is just too d*mn hard. I'm far from a tech-numpty - I've installed Gentoo and got most of it working on my own - but not even I could figure out what to put in each of the DBus fields, even after launching the DBus browser to look for what I wanted (which was org.kde.KWin --> Method: nextDesktop). Ultimate configuration power or no, this needs to be MUCH simplified.
An example would be using a similar list as is in the, "Global Keyboard Shortcuts" configuration option in, "Keyboard and Mouse". Having that list, with the ability to pick out individual applications as well, and double-clicking on an action in order to assign its D-Bus call to the gesture would be, I think, the most desirable and complete solution. Gah. Can't edit the title...

It should be noted that this isn't specific to gestures but more to KHotkeys as a whole.

Ah, yes. This only came up as gestures for me because I wanted a circle-like gesture to switch to the next desktop when I noticed.
