There are a lot of plasmoid witch are using a backgrounds dependent of your current plasma theme. Some plasmoid can be better without background!

I suggest to add a default option to change this one, like notification and translation default option in plasmoid settings. For example a checkbox that enable or disable the background .


In plasma there are 4 kind of background :
NoBackground
StandardBackground
TranslucentBackground
DefaultBackground

This is a plasmoid with and without background.
