Integrate a global scoreboard for all KDE games that shows which kde users have the highest scores in games like KMines and Knetwalk etc. Maybe this can be done through opendesktop logins?

This is a very good idea. But there is a problem. Those games are opensource, and it will be easy to pirate Hight score. Just look the source code, change it and now i can change my hight score.

I thought about this when I came up with the idea. In any game you can use a trainer to achieve the same effect. It's one of those cases where you just have to have faith in your users. I also doubt that many developers spend their time trying to hack the high scores in tetris.

An idea:
Make an online modus for the games: The gameserver sets the game to play. The client send command to play the game and the server decides, if the command was "legal". So nobody can cheat a high score. |
