The port 80 connectivity to MSN has been a highly requested feature for a long time in Kopete. With the latest versions of kopete supporting skype, google talk, facebook and many many more protocols there is just one small sore spot - MSN connectivity behind a firewall.

I can connect all other protocols nicely at work -except MSN, which I have to connect via Kmess.

I can envisage several possible solutions to this problem - One would be to adopt the Kmess protocol and another would be to make a Kopete-Kmess Dbus connection protocol like there already is for the Skype client.

Personally I would prefer the first option, since I find Kopete a very nice IM and it feels like having several clients running in the background defeats parts of the purpose of having one integrated IM.

Cheers
