Some files from KDE-Look.org are hosted on third-party hosting solutions and the desktop downloads the websites instead of the images, for example. Mostly, this happens with wallpapers, but also other files that are downloaded from KDE-Look.org through the "Hot new stuff" feature. An automatic filter that rejects HTML files would be nice.

There have been requests here improvements to GHNS but this sounds relatively simple, maybe with a prompt to the user "This links points to a file that GHNS cannot handle on its own. Would you like to open it in your Web browser?"

Proudly dual-booting openSUSE 11.1 with KDE 4.3 and Windows Vista on a Toshiba A205-S4577 since July 2007.
