Okular is great, but the controls takes up to much space. There are 2 bars on my left screen (Navigation panel), then there is the Menu bar and the Toolbar.

I would suggest to:

• hide the Navigation panel (only show a small icon to display it)
  
• hide the Menu bar, instead have a button in the toolbar.
  
• Zoom in toolbar is missing "Two pages" (There is a control but no one checks it)
  

And in presentation: (it's really beautfully made)

• Toggle osd mode (normal as today, no overlay, custom)
  
• A menu in the corner like on the KDE desktop
  
• Rotating dokument should rotate controls as well (good for tablets)
