Currently under Dolphin, It displays icons for some file types that have no associated program.
I'll use .mid files as an example. Under default Kubuntu, there are no associated programs to play .mid files installed, but Dolphin shows the midi icon. This could get users confused. my suggestion is to display an icon overlay, like a exclamation point, for file types that are known by Dolphin, but have no associated program. What do you think? |

I agree, it is confusing, perhaps there should some sort of emblem that means "this MIME type is not associated with any program"

I agree, would be very useful, and possibly not so hard to implement.
