Recently there have been added an option in Plasma to add some space between plasmoides on the panel.
But what if you want to add space between buttons in toolbar in programs? Now you simply can't.

Wouldn't it be more clear and functional if you could move button. E.g:
Gwenview has toolbar with default buttons like "next photo", "rotate photo" etc. The buttons are in line with no space between them. I would like to have next/previous buttons separeted from others or at the middle of the task bar.

What do you think, do you need it, what are your opinions?

I don't quite understand your idea. Do you want to add space between tasks in the task manager widget? (E.g. STasks has this feature).

What do you mean with "Wouldn't it be more clear and functional if you could move button."?

Please update the idea to make it more clear.

Oh, you mean like a flexible space for toolbars? Many applications actually have that - but I don't think it's in KDE...

This certainly wouldn't hurt to have :)

Ability to add space between buttons

Yeah, it's called "toolbar", not taskbar. Could you update the idea to make it clearer?

There used to be a "space separator" for toolbars, but I don't know what happened to it.

There is already a "separator" in configure toolbars, this could should be implemented in the same way.

I do not need it but I see where it could be useful...

perhaps add both "space" and "flexible space" like in firefox.

I like the idea. There would be added two new functions to the toolbar. So there would be --separator--, --space-- and --flexible space--.

I would love to have easy way to force some buttons to right side of the toolbar or middle by placing them between two --flexible space-.

It would be more like on Firefox or Thunderbird, where you can get some icons to middle and some to right side.

The "--space--" should be always one icon size, so if user change icon size from 22x22 -> 32x32, the "--space--" function size would change as well to correct one.

This way we could get easily any button to where we want. Or example place the "Next/Previus" buttons to middle of screen and not to left.

I don't know how difficult is this idea to be implemented but if somebody know how it could work, please tell me.
