To choose manually you need to open context menu. However there are protocol icons to the right in the contact list so why not make them (left mouse button) clickable? Then you can click those icons to choose an account or click the contact itself to allow Kopete decide as normal. You can already right-click those icons, BTW. EDIT: it seems forum.kde.org does not like double quotation marks they become '???'. Do not try this at home, part 1. Second most favorite command after KDE upgrade: # chmod -x /usr/bin/kactivitymanagerd
