since kdenlive has become one of the best video editors in the free software world it is also getting more stable every release.. unfortunately it is not rock solid hence an autosave option would be very very VERY useful.. an easy to implement feature that kdenlive needs more than every other software..

probably one could implement it configurable so you can choose how often it will be saved.. maybe it could save every minute or after every 2 edits ..

The thing is.. there is no autosave at the moment..


so the main idea is to provide an autosave function!

I would very much like this. I would even say that in any serious creative application an autosave feature is a must.
And Kdenlive never worked super stable for me, so it's much needed IMHO.
