this could be very cool but probably very hard to do.
it is possible according to your location before the event and the event location, using weather and traffic info (if available) to have a notification prior to the event like "hwy 6 is blocked, btw take umbrella" or something better .
it might even be possible to estimate the time required (there are some websites that do that) to get to the event (considering the weather and traffic of course).

This is what Sunrise Calendar did and I always loved it. They split the day in Morning, Afternoon, Evening showing weather forecast for these

It's really useful and probably not so hard to implement.

I think weather forecast could be visible on events too. Either based on your current location or on event location.
