This idea is about an option that would make Ark not to add hidden files in newly created archives.

For example if you right click on a folder and zip it, ark would add everything including the dolphin file with its view options (which is a hidden file). And if you send this archive to a friend working on another platform he'd probably wonder what is this file starting with a dot.

It's kind of annoying, although not so bad as in the mac osx case where you get a bunch of directories with every zip.
