Kopete is really lacking good message styles, ones available at kde-look are either poor ports from Adium (pushpin variations) or just old and unusable. And only three releases from June to November.

As some may know Kopete can use Adium styles available at
http://adiumxtras.com/index.php?a=search&cat_id=5

but from hundreds of available only few works currently.

Emapthy is already using this vast resource of styles.

For me really simple solution comes to mind, to improve compatibility, provide option to switch rendering engine from khtml to kde-webkit which is already available for konqueror.
