Like a Konqueror's recently visited list and browsing history, just for locations on the local network/computer, that would be available also in Dolphin.

There are plenty of alternatives to accessing last visited folders. The KickOff menu has a recent documents tab, as does other menus like Lancelot or even the classic menu. KRunner will bring up recent documents/folders as well. If you have been looking at images, Gwenview also offers a recently viewed documents.
