Solid to support ftp\ssh storage

Mon Dec 14, 2009 6:49 pm
Who today hasn't a web server at home?
I have my own little server, which i use to share music between pc and for backup too.
I saw in these days that backup tool for KDE are growing ( luckybackup, timevault, kaveau ). Timevault and kaveau uses solid to access storage, and solid doesn't provide access to ftp\ssh server.
It would be nice to provide a simple interface from solid to ssh\ftp protocol, maybe trough fish:\\ or ftp:\\ In this way you will be able to use you server as "local disk", and backup your data trought solid, without having to deal with fish or ftp..
