Situation: I try to interconnect my several computers, media resources and the living room Hifi and Movie Hardware using upnp. There is at least one great upnp server 'mediatomb' that perfectly serves audio and video via upnp.

Problem: Unfortunately neither Amarok nor Dragon Player has upnp client functions implemented. Amarok features a Ampache Plugin that works fine, however Ampache is not upnp - but upnp is the standard.

Solution: Would be great to have Amarok and Dragon Player (and even others) understand upnp as a client.
