Using a vertical bar with Application Launcher applet placed on it, when someone clicks on the applet the menu appears with an ugly aspect: big icons on the left take up too much, leaving a too small portion to real menu items.
In sections such as Applications it's difficult read the descriptions of the programs.

Possible solutions can be:
- change the menu size, making it wider or wider and less tall
- make the menu resizable
- reduce sections icons size
- change the elements position (like placing the sections icons on the top or bottom edge of the menu)
