Take a look at this:

As you can see there's 3 panels and I chose in the following order: RSS feeds (Akregator), Articles and opened Pinheiro blog in a new tab. Now third tab is very narrow.

So my idea is to add "hide panels"/"fullscreen" option or just popular F11 shortcut. What do you think?

I imagine this idea as KWin feature. We can minimize panel and it should travel to caption bar.
