Perhaps this is a bit of a silly or trivial thought, but by default the path to system icons is not shown under kmenuedit. Additionally, certain "system" icons may not show up under the "system icons" option, causing much consternation for users wishing to use the missing icons (the crossed wrench and screwdriver, in particular). As most linux users aren't they type to puchase a car with the hood welded shut, figuratively speaking, I see no reason to obfuscate the path to icons when in kmenuedit. After all, the FHS is convoluted as it stands...
