There is my thought: The current RAW images loader/editor in Krita has several limitations.
Why don't use an already powerful application like digiKam as a previous workflow in Krita? (Photoshop's Camera RAW style). Regards, HKN |

I don't think this is a good idea. Digikam is a stand-alone application, not a part of kdebase and not a part of koffice. I don't think making koffice depend on such an application is a good idea.

Maybe Krita could use digikam IF detected on run-time? For example, you don't need libdvdcss to run xine, but if present, xine will use it.
DISCLAIMER: I'm not programmer, I have no idea if something like that is feasible or even worth the effort.
