Hi,
Big application have a complex menu bar with a lot of items. Occasional users or those migrating to a kde app might waste a long time to find a given menu item. It will be good to implement a menu search like the one found in Mac OS X. (see for example http://mactoids.com/help-menu-search-in-mac-os-x-leopard/) If this is implemented in the kde libraries, it will be automatically available for all applications! heg |

I saw somebody implementing something like this over a year ago on PlanetKDE but I don’t know anymore who it was and if there is any progress on this.

This would be great as I really like the idea of that when people are searching info. That as well would mean we need to add synonyms to different actions in menus so when user search "Exit" then he as well find out "Quit" from File > Quit
