After Qt 4.5 support GTK theme , Qt applications use Oxygen theme when they are running under KDE SC and use current GTK theme when they are running under GNOME/Xfce/LXDE (qtconfig 's default setting is "use current desktop theme").
KDE community not only make desktop environment, but also kinds of applications like Amarok2/digikam/k3b /koffice2. Not all people use these apps under KDE SC . They may complain Amarok2 is not consistent with their desktop because they are using GNOME/Xfce/LXDE and don't know systemsettings can choose GTK+ theme . I suggest KDE applications can automatically choose current GTK theme (+color theme and icon theme) when they are running under other desktop environment.
