Allow to make many selections and select one active from menu. Each selection would have independent color. User can join selections. There should be also one main selection (last).

Possible options in program menu:
- Remove all previous selection
- Join selections to one
- Filter files in selection
- Deselect files

In D&D it would be simple to select which selection i would to copy/move/link.

I understand the basis for the idea but I'm a bit hazy on the implementation. What are you suggesting - perhaps a colour coded system? Dynamic tags to identify file selections? Weird intersection mouse selection mojo?

What's D&D?

Approved anyway since it _is_ an idea.

D&D - Drag and Drop.

Each selection would use other color of highlight(random).

I see here the possibility of much confusion and decreased ease-of-use. How would a user initiate a new selection vs. changing the current selection vs. starting a new selection with nothing else selected?.
I'm not sure how much this would get used since most of the time users only work with one selection at-a-time.
