New kwin effect:inertion.

Sat Apr 17, 2010 9:44 pm
Hello,

I'm using the desktop effects of kwin, and I like them. But what I miss here is an "inertion" effect: when a window is moved, don not immediatly when the mouse stops "taking" the window to the new position, but keep on moving. But there is a sort of fraction, which make the movement fade out.

Another example is the turning of the desktop's when they are displayed as sides of a cube. When turning with the mouse, from one desktop to another, the movement should not stop, but the turning of the cube should keep on, and again fading out.

The only effect present now which has a simular behaviour is "wobbly", when windows are still wobbling after the mouse has released the window.

Or like snooker (or (pool) biljart), bouncing against the edges.
