offline files and folders

edit: the idea is that you can use a usb drive or a network folder while it is offline and when it is back online again the data is synced automatically.
you don't experience the offline problem.

I am looking for that feature for a long time now, tried using rsync and unison and looked at other ideas (cvs\git\svn), but none of them is, simply put like Window$ feature...

my use cases are usb drives and network drives.

is it possible to implement such a feature into Dolphin?
that would be really great.

What is the feature? If you mean offline files and folders, please explain what that means, since people who are not already familiar with it will not be able to understand the idea.
