I'd love to see a combined and simplified communication interface for Akregator, KNode, KMail, Blogilo, Kopete, Choqok and Konversation: read, write and reply-to entries.

I don't need all features most of the time, and I don't see much conceptual difference between a redent/retweet, an Infomail (to a group of interested friends; maybe automatically aggregated as weekly digest) and a jabber notice to interested friends.

Also I think that blogging about a dent/tweet, a newsentry, an email, an info in a newsgroup, a visited website, a forum entry or a jabber notice could be one simple unified action.

In the end, all of these communication actions could be joined into an info inflow (with the option of seperating the entries - for example to see only infos from a certain chat), reply/write in the channel (maybe merged in the inflow as in a chat), forward to all (other/compatible*) channels and taking different actions with the info which require additional attention (like tweeting/denting/blogging about it {needs a URI and title} or sending it via email {need a URI and the content}, ...).

(*): compatible means: the message type from the source channel is compatible with the target. A dent/tweet can be forwarded via mail without (necessary) modification (a default setting for forwarding {per type of info} could help here), but an email can't be put in a dent without being creative yourself - it has no URI.

Maybe Akonadi could help with that.

(began its live as a dent)

Yeah, once all info is in akonadi, this wouldn't be too complicated to write...
