We have a choice of plain text and html or rich text emails, but these can be easily accompanied by a form if markup is really needed. I propose to introduce a format starting with a plain text message, followed (inline) by (for example) '%%markup' and some formatting pointing to the above text, so there is no reading around {b} bold {/b}, or {a href="webpage"}here{/a}, but still retain the important (and much requested) bandwidth. In %%markup, receivers may request not to send %%markup messages (perhaps force by saying such messages will not be seen/filtered), or incline to use %%markup only as VAT, meaning not to use it for decorative purposes, subsequently wasting bandwidth.
Use something as %%markup to define the second paragraph as 'indepth information', 'behind the scenes', 'anecdote', or 'extra arguments', by effectively (initially) hiding the second paragraph from view. Example: [email header] Hello Mark, In reply to .. second paragraph ... third paragraph ...... Yours, Miss Fine Dear Networks %%markup hide second paragraph hide markup section
With money in the balance what about me with money in the balance.
