Ksnapshot quick open button

Sat Jun 05, 2010 8:47 pm
Every time I create a snapshot and wish to review it before saving I need to select the application to view/open it with. My suggestion is the addition of a view/open button that launches a default app (Kuickshow in my case). I'm not suggesting the removal of the "open with" pull down, just an additional configurable button.

Maybe not a button, but just clicking on the image? Or maybe a "zoom in"-like button over the image when you move the cursor over it?

I support Gallaecio's idea.

(in order for some app to open the screenshot, it will need to be saved anyway - at least in /tmp or somewhere like that)

There are also buttons that when clicked directly do one thing, but when pressed and held open a menu with more options. This may be easier to discover than clicking on the picture.
