Hi, this is known idea but we realy need to push it to devs, in mothern PC there is plenty of RAM so option to keep instance of konsole preloaded would be nice, this is essential application used very often in linux world so user experience would be better if it could start immediately
it's all about OPTIONs PS forgive my english

I quite sure that preload doplhin idea was already proposed.
But preload konsole wasn't...

Yes, please edit this idea so it only includes konsole.

Throwing this in there;
Why can we not have some sort of control-panel program that can preload -any- program? Ie have a list of programs with checkboxes and let users decide what to preload? I'm sure regular-users of office programs might choose koffice apps, I might preload several browsers, other might preload a game...

Yes, I think a general idea would be good instead of a lot of "Preload

I don't understand something about preloading : when I open konsole for the first time it takes a long time, after closing it and opening it again it takes less but if I open it, then minimize it and the open anbother one it takes A LOT less time. Is my preloading not working or is it something else?
