Update default emoticon theme

Tue Aug 03, 2010 1:17 am
The default "kde4" theme present (and used as the default) emoticon theme in KDE4 calls back to the days of KDE3, doesn't match the overall Oxygen look, and thus seems inconsistent, at least in my opinion. Just compare the icon for the Emoticons section and the icon for the kde4 theme in the system settings panel. It's not jarring but it doesn't look right.

At some point it seems like this theme should be replaced with one that uses the updated emoticon set (such as the one used on this site) along with other emoticons (such as the ones for heart, thumbs down, present, etc) created to match them if they don't already exist.

The penguins theme is so much better... :) But I'm not against improving the default one.
