Now that activities are finally seeing some love I think it's time to start coming up with funky ideas to make use of them.
I propose for the option to assign contacts to activities. In Kopete it will only show the contacts that correspond to the current activity, and it will also only show the appropriate chat windows of those contacts.

I think the idea of associating contacts with activities may be a good idea, but I disagree with hiding other contacts. You will be constantly switching activities to talk to people and the average user(such as myself) will get confused as to which contacts are in which activities.

How about we can grey them out just as a visual indicator although you can still click on them to chat. This way it doesn't get in your way.

Or you could do the opposite an highlight the ones that are active. I think graying them out might make people think they cannot be used at all.
