Greetings to KDE user!
As a user since version 1.x, I have seen the progress of KDE for all these years ... I really enjoyed the Kmenu in KDE 4, but I have a small observation: I think the Kmenu too wide a field of research too big, it could be better utilized the space available. I am no expert on image editing, but follow my tip: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4101/491 ... cd0d_b.jpg Would be well utilized space in detail only the name "search" to stay in their own field of research (some space saved) and the other the details of the user name and space for avatar would be very well thought out. Unfortunately in KDE 4.5 on icon "Favorites" now this with the title "Favorite Applications" leaving even broader menu. And even with all that size does not have the option of an avatar and still carries the user's name plus the name of the machine to take even more space. It would be nice KDE developers notice these little details. Long live KDE! Sorry my bad english ... produced by Google |

Mine has my avatar. It is a bit smaller than that but it is there.

I like the bigger avatar and the large user name (don't like the stars) at the top.
The problem of the menu being to wide is because of the large 'usados recentemente' string. If only your translation team changed the string to 'recentes' like you proposed the menu will be less wide. So I would say that this is a bug rather than brainstorm. (Perhaps change or make new brainstorm about larger avatar and username) |

Well in the US English version, could the string "Recently Used" be changed to just "Recent" to reduce menu width?
