KDE needs a Reset Settings Button

I use KDE since SuSE 7.3.

My wife and my 2 and my 4 year old sons use KDE.
No better test subjects :).

We need a Reset Setting Button on Panel options. Simple as that.

And probably a confirmation dialog to add to that.

There is a confirmation dialog before you remove a panel. The problem is that many don't understand what exactly they're removing.

In 4.5 there is a option to add a new default panel - isn't that good enough, OP? (Sincere question, not saying that this idea isn't valid.)

Remember. It's not me, a 10 years experienced developer that is asking how to reset KDE settings. I already know how to do that.

Live example: My mother, she's 52 years old, went to my house and asked me to access hotmail (yuck i know), she removed firefox icon from panel and she did't know how to get it back. That is kde panel usability failure. Don't you agree? She wanted to get things fixed and as default in openSuSE, but she didn't know how. The first thing she tried was right mouse button.

Need to show that "simple, simple, simple" on front of a user, even if the solution is complicated. A bit like MacOSX. But not that radical approach Apple takes that "everybody is dumb" or that google approach that "you will see what i (google, copyright, trademark, registed, mix of very proprietary -stolen open source- and google logo again) will let you".

My suggestion from the "test subjects" i've seen is:

Right click in Panel >> Panel Options >> Reset to Default Panel =[Confirmation Dialog]=

A bit like web developers best rules: 3 steps max to reach to what you want.
