This is a simple proposal for a new KRunner plugin for easy access to available NoMachine NX sessions.

Gnome-Do has a very handy plugin for this: GNOME Do! Plugins

This is something I found very valuable when I was using Gnome DO! and have been searching for a way to do the same type of thing with Krunner

Had a quick look at that Gnome-Do plugin source. It's pretty poorly written, but fairly simple:

Parses hosts by listing ("HOME") "/.nx/config/";
finds all items except nxclient.cfg

Then runs ("/usr/NX/bin/nxclient", "--session '"uri"'")
where uri is based on the filename extracted earlier.

If either of you two (or anyone else) wanted to code this, I would happily act as a mentor, help breaks things down and guide you through it.
