What I miss for KDE/kwallet is a simple and easy selection of the stored passwords to insert it on any input field/line which is currently selected.

I save all the passwords of my systems (git, mercurial, ...) and websites in a separate kwallet-store. Every time when I want to access any of these systems I have to open kwallet, browse through the list, select the system, click "show content" and copy&paste the password. I waste a lot of time.

It would be much easier If there would be a context menu on the kwallet icon on the systemtray which lists up all the system-names/folders which are stored in kwallet. Or optionally only a specific folder. I could browse through the list on the context menu and click on the system-name of which I want to login to insert the password automatically on the selected input field or line (konsole).

The list should also appears when kwallet is locked. But if its locked it should ask first for the master password for kwallet before it inserts the selected password. Optionally it could also save the selected password in the clipboard.

On Gnome I used "Revelation" which comes with a nice applet. Maybe it doesnt make sense to include it in the context menu of kwallet. But a plasmoid would be nice.

Great idea, but I would prefer global shortcut and floating popup menu as implementaion.

I like the idea, but I'd prefer a krunner module -> quickly search for the password entry, hit enter and the password goes in.
Another option, which I personally like, is a search box next to or below a password input field.
