It would be awesome that krunner was exactly like gnome-do in terms of functionality.
When i run something from krunner, i would like that krunner "learns" what are my favourite apps, files and places. For example, in gnome-do when i type firefox, obviously firefox appears. But the second time i type f, or fi, firefox appears intermediately. The same thing works for locations. In krunner there's apps that i've never used before as first priority applications. Krunner must learn my favourite apps, locations, files and priortise them before any other results, regardless of the "type" (eg: command, app, or location).

It already seems to do this for me. Are you sure it isn't?

It doesn't work for me...
Do you have something special installed/running? |

Hyugga, can you give a specific scenario which shows that "it doesn't work"?

I have a folder called "Descargas" (Downloads) where i keep all the things i download...
I've been using krunner for months, i've been opening this folder like 10 times a day, but krunner doesn't learn that folder is important...When i type "des", the first thing that pops up is Mendeley Desktop (A reseach paper organizer), then i type desc, and pops up an application that i've never used before! (it's "descarga de CDDB", CDDB download). I have to type the entire word to have access to the folder. I hope you understand my **** english. Thanks for your responses. |

Ah yes, that is because there is priority to which results are shown. I think it shows console commands first, then application results, and then locations, etc. So whilst "Descargas" might have top priority in "locations", it is still lower priority than an "Application".
Please reword your idea to take advantage of this

Edited it a little myself to make it clearer, fixed some spelling, and approved.

I also have a Descargas folder (¡Hola! ). When I type Des on krunner the first option is the folder, the second is (sometimes) a recent document and only then I obtain CDDB. I have Descargas on my "Places" on Dolphin.
