Sometimes when a user sets up dual screens, they set up widgets or panels on the second screen. These widgets and panels can stay on the other screen when its not connected.
My suggestion is a viewer that shows zoomed out how the widgets and panels are set up across the screens, and let the user drag them to the other screen. It will have to be accessible from the right click menu. |

Really nice idea. I think it could share most of the “View all windows” view since it also shows desktops downscaled. Instead of having windows and virtual desktops it should display the “real” desktops and widgets.

In 4.6 plasma will allow you to view the widgets on the other desktop in this situation, but it won't use zooming.
