I think the activities is going in the right direction by making it faster and simplier, but I think it can still get a lot better.

I would like to see "activites" and the virtual desktops that are managed with "pager" widget to be merged in a way where the virtual desktops that are currently interfaced with pager become sub activities.

I think gnome-shell completely replaced there virtual desktop with something similar to kde's activities. I would like to see something similar in kde, but the ability to create sub-activities. This would be a great benefit since some tasks may require more then one virtual desktops and others may not.

Then we could add functionality where plasmoids, application, and sub-activites to be moved between other activities. (similar to the way gnome-shell can drag and drop windows between there virtual desktops).
