Hi!
URLs in Kopete, Konversation, KMail etc. are clickable, and since most users use tabbed browsing, clicking the link will open the website in a new tab in the browserwindow, or it may open a new browserwindow somewhere. What would be about an option to open this link (by pressing ctrl or using the context-menu) in a new browserwindow grouped with the current window using window-tabbing. In the normal browserwindow you browse across all sites, read stuff, go back etc., this is not the right place for most links sent by other people, you may just want to have a quick look at it, maybe it is pasted source-code or a short explanation of something etc. and you want to have it next to your conversation. The implementation does not need complex new features, but it has to combine the existing stuff in an unusual way, the kdeui-code for the context-menus would have to check if kwin is running and send a message to kwin to enable the grouping. You can force the grouping of windows with windowrules. Would this be an option for you?
