I recently found a bug in a plasmoid, and wanted to report it. I use a French version of KDE, in which the name of the plasmoid is translated into French. So I had trouble to find a place to report my bug, as I didn't even had the original name.

It is possible to know the author and the website in GetHotNewStuff, but once the plasmoid is installed, there is no information about it (or it is well hidden).

There is a "help" button in the config dialog of plasmoids. I suggest that when clicking this button, a dropdown menu would appear, with a link to Plasma's help, "Report a bug" and "About...", which would pop-up the regular "about dialog" which is used in all KDE apps.
