Group tabs seem very useful, but cumbersome to actually use. The idea is to add a simple "+" button, visible in the upper left hand corner. You can click it to open a new tab, just as in any standard web browser. Opening it gives you the option to open an application, recently used files, or bookmarked websites, very similar to opening a new tab in Chrome or Rekonq, but with local files and programs as well.
Alternatively, if you have a window that is already open that you would like to add to the group, simply drag that window onto the other window's "+" button, and it will add any group tabs of that window to the next. Any comments and suggestions are welcome. |
